"We had FunXion 5 play for us a second time in June 2023. The first time was in June 2022. We have already booked them for June 2024! Everyone loves this band! Our private venue was in a separate area of a very nice pub in a village called Stanwick. They are so good that we could see other patrons dancing in the streets! You will not go wrong with this band. Jared will work with you on the type of music you like and he will create a playlist for you which will be played during their breaks. The singers are great! The sound system is unbelievable! I just cannot say enough as I could go on and on!"

"I hired the band as i had used them before at a charity night, it is always a risk but I have to say they were absolutely fantastic again and a number of my guests asked where I found them as they were so good, each of the musicians are very talented and the singer was just great, We asked them if they could do Bandioke ie let people come up and sing with them, which they did and it was a complete success. I would highly recommend these for your event if you are looking for a great band. They were so good that I have already booked them again for my next event."

"We originally booked FunXion 5 back in 2019 for our original wedding which was meant to take place in May 2020. COVID delayed the wedding and we had to reschedule several times. Jared and the band couldn’t have been more accommodating. The communication from them every step of the way was clear, prompt and super helpful. They assisted us with a PA speaker for our speeches, arriving early to help set it up. Performance wise they were fantastic. The song choices were excellent, there was a real range in eras and kept our guests dancing all night. We requested Carla as the singer and she was superb, as were all the band members."

"We have given 3 large parties with live music in the last few years, most recently this July for a 70th Birthday party. All the performers did a good job but the standouts have been FunXion 5. Picking suitable music was no problem - we were offered an extensive repertoire, from hits of the 60's till today, and Jared Martin from the band worked with us to create a playlist that was perfect for the occasion. The band did an acoustic set outdoors for background during pre-dinner drinks and canapes, and also organised a playlist of pre-recorded music to be broadcast through their sound system between sets. There therefore was no need for a DJ. And delivery on the night couldn't have been better - you could see the band really care about their work. The ultimate accolade is simple though - FunXion 5 kept our dance floor packed throughout their two sets. The energy levels were really high right up until the last number, and even habitual wall flowers joined the action!"

"I had Funxion5 perform for my husband's birthday party. This band of 6 was amazing. The event was in June of this year and we had 40 guests. I am still hearing comments about how good this band was. We have a birthday party every year for my husband and we will have this band perform for us from now on! Our guests were on the dance floor all night. I worked with Jared in advance and the band played most of the songs I requested plus more. During the intermissions they played my playlists so we had constant music from 7pm through 11pm. “FunXion 5 played at my 40th birthday party last year and they were brilliant! I was really looking for a band that played a wide variety of music to cater to all my friends whose musical tastes differ greatly. They played everything from pop, rock, funk soul, blues and even threw in a little jazz for good measure! Everyone loved it and I got lots of comments from the guests saying how much they all enjoyed it. Being a professional singer myself, they even allowed me up on stage to sing Valerie due to multiple requests from my friends! Highly recommend!”

"Funxion 5 are the most incredible band any wedding or party could hope for. All of our guests were blown away by their talent, which they all still talk about months on from our wedding. They managed to play throughout our hour-long canapés and for four further hours after at our reception party, as well as the piano for our wedding ceremony.
The team are the most lovely people to work with, and very accommodating by learning specially selected songs - even though we ended up changing our first dance song last minute! They ranged from pop, jazz, Motown to rock - and even ended up freestyling an amazing funky beat when our MC called the guests up to the front for a photograph.
Individually, the band members are all unbelievably talented. I fully recommend getting the full works, including the saxophonist whose singing and playing are unparalleled. Simon even played the bass until his fingers were bleeding! Vocals were breathtaking - and could easily range from Etta James to Jamiroquai.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Funxion 5 play at a few events, and their ability to tailor their music to individual events is wonderful - from soft background music to getting everybody dancing the whole night.
I cannot praise the band highly enough - we’re so thankful to them for making our special day even more unforgettable as well as for our 200 guests."
